An exceptional coffee house nestled in the main strip of Little-Havana. This little Miami gem is serving original Cuban bean coffee and combining it with the art of a barista. This is the best place in calleocho to enjoy your zip of coffee. Mixing liquor, creams, spices and dairy derivatives, you will never taste a coffee so complex and balanced in rich flavor. The place is small, cozy and unassuming. I hadn't even noticed their special coffee selection the first time I walked in. But then I noticed the coffee bean cooker and asked where the beans where from. The owner is extremely knowledgeable in the history of coffee, informing you on all the ingredients and different preparation techniques you never thought existed. You might think its a place to get your ordinary cuban espresso but look a little deeper and you will notice the craftsmanship in obtaining the perfect zip of coffee like no other in South Florida.

This coffee shop is on Calle Ocho in the heart of Little Havana. It’s totally designed for tourists, with all those cafeteras & other Cuban memorabilia as decor, but I’m a local, native & resident and I love it. So fun. I also saw a bunch of local workers coming in for their midday cafecito so you know it’s real. They were on a first name basis with the barista and I hope to become that too. The coffee is delish. Just as the shop’s name suggests, La Colada Gourmet serves a fancier Cuban coffee. I mean, I have yet to see coffee art at a ventanita or any Cuban cafe at that. It’s not a thing but my cortadito here does! Epaaa! They have a ton of different coffees, like a Tres Leches espresso or the Capablanca (Baileys with Cuban espresso). They’re serving up a different take on Cuban coffee - I’m here for it. Also, the owner is a sweetheart & that always adds points in my book. We recently visited Miami and knew that having Cuban coffee was a must. We stumbled upon La Colada while exploring Little Havana and it was quite the discovery. We had the most delicious coffee (tres leches, as photographed) after being told by the manager that it was the most “important and delicious coffee to try”. We also loved the ambiance because it was filled with Cuban decor and knickknacks, making it feel as if I really was in Havana.
It’s an awesome feeling to get support from Miami businesses.

I love coffee shops or cafes. The more unique, the more I enjoy them. I also delight in sitting outside a cafe and watching people while enjoying a good cappuccino or latte. One of my most absolute favorite things to do in Europe.
On Instagram, La Colada Gourmet popped up and I began following it. I noticed they had two locations, one in Little Havana and the other in Wynwood. I loved seeing their creative designs on the coffee, but I knew I had to taste it.
After dinner in Miami’s Design District, I headed to Wynwood to savor the coffee at La Colada Gourmet. Loved the vibe of the shop and enjoyed reading the selections. I chose the “Tres Leches” colada and asked them to go wild with a design.
Kudos to the servers (a young lady from Cuba and young man from Argentina). Extremely pleasant and enjoyable to speak with. Thank you to my barista for the tasty and beautiful cup of coffee.

While looking for a good coffee spot, yelp listed lacoladagourmet as one of the best in the neighborhood. This adorable little spot on Calle Ocho had some serious coffee options that I had never heard of! This cute pink creation is called the Little Pink Havana: strawberry liqueur and a cafe, and whipped cream. Little bit of an acquired flavor, but I did enjoy it!

I love coffee shops or cafes. The more unique, the more I enjoy them. I also delight in sitting outside a cafe and watching people while enjoying a good cappuccino or latte. One of my most absolute favorite things to do in Europe.
On Instagram, La Colada Gourmet popped up and I began following it. I noticed they had two locations, one in Little Havana and the other in Wynwood. I loved seeing their creative designs on the coffee, but I knew I had to taste it.
After dinner in Miami’s Design District, I headed to Wynwood to savor the coffee at La Colada Gourmet. Loved the vibe of the shop and enjoyed reading the selections. I chose the “Tres Leches” colada and asked them to go wild with a design.
Kudos to the servers (a young lady from Cuba and young man from Argentina). Extremely pleasant and enjoyable to speak with. Thank you to my barista for the tasty and beautiful cup of coffee.

While looking for a good coffee spot, yelp listed lacoladagourmet as one of the best in the neighborhood. This adorable little spot on Calle Ocho had some serious coffee options that I had never heard of! This cute pink creation is called the Little Pink Havana: strawberry liqueur and a cafe, and whipped cream. Little bit of an acquired flavor, but I did enjoy it!
