Como me ha ocurrido con cada uno de los restaurantes que estoy visitando en Miami, por cada diez personas que me recomiendan un restaurante, salen otras diez no recomendándolo. Y con los cubanos no iba a ser menos.

Este restaurante, situado en la turística calle 8, no me ha gustado nada. Empezando por un mojito infame, seguido de un sandwich cubano con un pan duro, como si llevase tres días en la nevera, y unos tostones totalmente revenidos. Solo se salvó la ropa vieja.

I couldn’t resist another go at Hidden Springs before I’m back in Europe and tapping into this golden nectar is no longer an option. Drone Thugs-N-Harmony is one of those berliners you could sip on all summer. To my surprise it was properly beat by Tripping Animals Bagheera though. Never heard of this brewery but that berliner with boysenberries, black currant, vanilla and lactose was divine. The Good Karma was also right up there. Apparently they aren’t too far out west so maybe there is a new taproom visit coming up?
In the midst of all this I needed a solid fuel up as well and was pointed in the direction of Old’s Havana and ended up trying lots of great food that I can neither pronounce nor recall. Thanks to JP and the barkeep for the recommendation!
Then I went for some lazy strolling on Calle Ocho before safely returning to The Union Beer Store.
Yeah I’m pretty sure those calories are back in the red zone where they belong!

I couldn’t resist another go at Hidden Springs before I’m back in Europe and tapping into this golden nectar is no longer an option. Drone Thugs-N-Harmony is one of those berliners you could sip on all summer. To my surprise it was properly beat by Tripping Animals Bagheera though. Never heard of this brewery but that berliner with boysenberries, black currant, vanilla and lactose was divine. The Good Karma was also right up there. Apparently they aren’t too far out west so maybe there is a new taproom visit coming up?
In the midst of all this I needed a solid fuel up as well and was pointed in the direction of Old’s Havana and ended up trying lots of great food that I can neither pronounce nor recall. Thanks to JP and the barkeep for the recommendation!
Then I went for some lazy strolling on Calle Ocho before safely returning to The Union Beer Store.
Yeah I’m pretty sure those calories are back in the red zone where they belong!
